From the Audition Instructions: There has been a change in audition requirements. The number of required exercises has been reduced. A chromatic scale has been added to the audition materials. The exercise to be recorded is now Exercise 9, We ask that all teachers structure the playthrough/recording as follows: These instructions differ greatly from the instructions for other AMIS festivals. Record the student announcing his or her name, then the required chromatic scale. Turn off the machine and have the student play exercise 8. (You will need to rate this exercise as the student plays through it.) Turn on the machine and record exercise 9 as the student plays through this. Be sure to mark each mistake as your student plays through the exercise. Turn off the machine and have your student play exercise 10 as you carefully mark mistakes
